1. J’arrive 10 minutes.
= I arrive in about 10 minutes.
2. C’est fini.
= It is about / kind of finished.
3. Il mesure 1m80.
= He measures more or less 1m80.
4. Nous serons là 8 heures.
= We will be there around 8 o’clock.
5. tout le monde est arrivé.
= Almost everyone has arrived.
6. Il y avait 50 personnes.
= There were about 50 people.
7. C’est terminé.
= It is nearly / almost / sort of finished.

= We will be there more or less at 9 o’clock.

= I do not like coffee, on the contrary I love tea.

= It is cold, however we are going out anyway.
